Trader Joes’s – Give Them an Inch

Trader Joe's is still insisting that its eggs from battery-caged hens meet bogus industry standards. What the company doesn't disclose is that those standards permit factory farmers to intensively confine birds in cages with a mere 67 square inches of floor space per hen—less space than a sheet of letter-sized paper.
