Actresses Shailene Woodley and Riley Keough Join Native American Youth in Call to Block Dakota Access Pipeline #Protest

At 1:00 pm EST this Saturday, August 6th, 30 Native American youth will be joined by actresses Shailene Woodley and Riley Keough and others to deliver 140,000 signatures collected on a Change.org petition calling for the rejection of the Dakota Access pipeline.

The Native American youth concluded their 1,800 mile run from the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota–one mile from the site where the Dakota Access pipeline will cross the Missouri River–to Washington, DC on Friday, bringing attention to their calls to protect their home and community from the dangers of the crude oil pipeline.

In addition to actresses Shailene Woodley and Riley Keough, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher and Alison Sudol have all shown strong support for this effort to stop the Dakota Access pipeline.
