Logo TV to Air HRC’s Stop the Hate Video on Sunday #StopTheHate #LGBTQ

Today, Logo TV will air HRC’s Stop the Hate video in honor of the victims of the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando last month.

Today marks the 49-day anniversary of the tragedy that stole the lives of 49 LGBTQ and allied people, most of whom were young and Latinx, in an incredibly senseless act of violence.

The 18-minute tribute – directed by Emmy Award-winning Ryan Murphy and Ned Martel, with the support of their colleagues at Ryan Murphy Television – features a diverse cast of 49 actors, directors and other entertainment leaders recounting individual stories of the people killed in our nation’s deadliest mass shooting. The video is set to air in full on Logo  –  6:42 p.m. EST; and 11:00 p.m. EST.

In the wake of the Orlando massacre, HRC launched www.hrc.org/StoptheHate to serve as a lasting memorial to the victims of the attack. It is also home to resources and news about the wave of hate violence against the LGBTQ community, and visitors are encouraged to add their voice in support of commonsense gun safety legislation.
