TeenVogue Refuses Fund's Anti-Fur Ad

The new young adult magazine, TeenVogue, has refused to run one of The
Fund's anti-fur ads in its debut issue, despite the fact that young
readers will be bombarded with pro-fur articles.

The Fund's anti-fur
ad campaign features young stars such as Jessica Biel of "7th Heaven"
and Marla Sokoloff of "The Practice" with the caption "Animals Need
Their Fur Coats More Than I Do."

TeenVogue is the first magazine to
reject the ad, writing in an e-mail to The Fund for Animals, "we do
include fur with our fashion editorial coverage and our management
feels uncomfortable accepting such advertising."
