We won unanimous approval in the U.S. House of Representatives for an amendment to the spending bill for the Department of the Interior to restore federal protections for wild horses and burros and to bar the commercial sale and slaughter of these animals for foreign food exports. This unanimous approval will build even more momentum for our work to pass a permanent ban on horse slaughter.
