Terra Incognita Ecotours, Inc. and the African Conservation Foundation today announced a new partnership that combines philanthropy with tourism as a means to promote the work of the African Conservation Foundation. The mission of Terra Incognita Ecotours is to positively impact, and to strengthen the local organizations dedicated to conservation, and the African Conservation Foundation is a perfect fit for this mission.
"This partnership will absolutely help ensure that ecotourism is a positive force for conservation and an economically viable alternative to habitat destruction and exploitation" said Ged Caddick the founder of Terra Incognita Ecotours. Terry Harnwell, the President and Founder of the African Conservation Foundation believes that "this partnership will help connect travelers to the conservation challenges that face many of the places they visit, and will inspire people to become more involved."
The partnership provides a contribution to the African Conservation Foundation for each person registering for a trip to see the Mountain Gorillas this coming November. The tour is promoted by both the African Conservation Foundation and Terra Incognita Ecotours, and the initial offering of this partnership is the "Gorillas in the Mist" tour to Rwanda and Uganda from November 11
