About Magazine Featured Columnist
Independent Thoughts
By Dennis

After many years of taking a break, I am once again writing regular editorials.  I know not everyone will agree with me on some or all points & topics, but my hope is that I will at least make you think.  We should all be able to critically judge and regularly review our positions on issues and be civilized to one another when discussing any differences of opinion.  I appreciate healthy debate, but I have no interest in racism, bigotry, propaganda and lies, or even hateful speech towards others. I hope you enjoy the blog and I hope you’ll join us here and on facebook for some lively discussions!

Enviroshop History –

The Idea – We started Enviroshop back in 1996 and in 1997 we added ABOUT Magazine. The original idea for ABOUT Magazine actually dates back to the early 1990’s when I developed the idea with my friend since childhood James Kilfeather, and his girlfriend at the time and now old friend Terrie Garza. The intention was always to fight for positive change. We were frustrated by the lack of progress and the lack of media coverage on the issues we all cared about. Although the look of the magazine/blog has changed dramatically over the years, the core mission has never changed, even today. If we leave you with one thought, it should be this. We should all be able to critically judge and regularly review our positions on issues. Things do change, and it’s okay for you to change your opinion too. We hope you enjoy the blog and we hope you’ll join us in the blog and on facebook for some lively discussions! If you have your own editorial or press release you would like us to publish, please submit them via the Submit an Article web form.  If you’re a fellow blogger interested in possibly being featured, please use this method to submit your bio, references to images, and links to your artist website, blog, fan page, twitter account, or any other social media service you may use.
