ruling in the lawsuit filed by The Fund and other groups before the
winter snowmobile season. The Fund has filed a legal brief

the snowmobile industry by allowing the use of polluting, noisy, and
wildlife-harming machines despite its own studies that show exactly
how harmful they are. The Fund seeks to protect Yellowstone's unique
wildlife, including bison, by prohibiting both snowmobiling and road
packing, which facilitate bison movements outside the park where they
are slaughtered by the state of Montana and the National Park Service.
