On April 29th, The Fund for Animals reported that the tiger and leopard cubs
who captivated national attention last week, after being rescued from
a crawl space in an attic of a private home in rural California, are
recovering well and in excellent condition at the organization's
Wildlife Rehabilitation Center near San Diego.
The Fund's staff
assisted state wildlife and animal control investigators in
confiscating the cubs from a macabre crime scene of 90 dead tigers,
including 58 baby tigers in a freezer.
